Ellen has over 12 years of diversified business experience. Before joining Fred Miller Group, she was in commercial banking at SunTrust Bank for six years. Prior to commercial lending, she was a stockbroker with SunTrust Securities/SunTrust Equitiable where she handled the Executive Banking/Private Banking clients of SunTrust Bank. She also specialized in handling cashless stock option transactions for executives all over the world. Ellen graduated from St. Mary's High School in Raleigh, North Carolina and finished her education with a Speech Communications degree from The University of Georgia. Ellen is a member of the Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital. She is also a member of the Young Professionals Board of Dreams Come True.
A native of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Ellen is married to Brad Walters, owner of Satilla, a construction company, and has two children, El and McGehee. They have resided in Jacksonville for seven years in the Avondale area.
