A third-generation native of Jacksonville, Fred began his career at Miller Press (later known as Paramount Miller Graphics) following his graduation from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Fourteen years later he founded his own advertising and public relations firm. In the early 1990's he received his real estate broker's license and co-founded a business brokerage, which led to his career in residential real estate.
In 1995, Fred founded Fred Miller Group in Ortega Village and has enjoyed coaching and mentoring the company's associates, many of whom have been new to the real estate industry.
Fred and Carol have three sons: Ted, who is President of Fred Miller Group; Nathan, also a residential real estate broker; and Matt, a mortgage loan officer. In addition, they have six grandchildren, ages 11 months to nine years.
